History

Mesotherapy has proven to be effective for many conditions since its development in France in 1952. It is effective for cellulite elimination, body sculpting (targetted weight reduction) and skin rejuvenation.

The principle behind its use is that a combination of different formulas administered in a specific area will have an effect at that site.

Mesotherapy is the only answer to permanent reduction of cellulite.

Mesotherapy is also highly effective for body sculpting. With a series of 10-15 sessions, you can experience a loss of several inches from neck, arms, back, thighs, waist, hips and other problem areas.

Procedure

Mesotherapy is a medical procedure in which very small amounts of medications, FDA approved for other uses, are injected into the middle layer of skin using micro gauge needles. The procedure includes multiple injections into localized areas to achieve maximum results with no down time. The procedure takes 20-30 minutes with minimal discomfort.. Fat is lost through the process of lipolysis.

Bodyscupting & Weight Loss

For those clients seeking weight loss, Mesotherapy is a revolutionary and essential tool.

For those who find liposuction “too much”, Mesotherapy for fat loss and body contouring is absolutely the answer.

For those patients who have already had liposuction, and now find fat depositing in other areas as well as cellulite, which has become even worse, Mesotherapy is the answer.

This is how it works: blocking the signals of fat accumulation modifies the biology of the fat cell and simultaneously triggering the release of stored fat. Again, the desired area of treatment can be patient specific, targeting your most problematic areas.

Microinjections are given using a proprietary, individualized “fat burning” formula. These injections are given directly into the areas being treated. Results are considered permanent as long as the patient adheres to a proper nutrition and exercise regimen. An occasional touch-up may be required once or twice a year.

Mesotherapy results are measured in inches. A typical patient can lose up to two dress sizes with 10 treatments. Patients have lost up to four inches on their waist, love handles, back fat, chin, hips and thighs

Mesotherapy is the ultimate fat burning enhancer and will dramatically increase the results of overall weight loss and spot weight reduction as a supplement to a reasonable exercise and healthy diet regimen.

All patients undergoing Mesotherapy will be asked to follow a natural healthy diet, which will be easy to follow. Because fat and toxins are eliminated, drinking six glasses of water or some type of liquid is used to flush these substances out of the body. Exercise is needed to circulate the medications used, with either walking or another form of aerobic activity, at least three times a week.

Cellulite

According to recent research, 95 percent of women suffer from cellulite. Not that they are the only ones, less common perhaps, but men suffer from it also. This condition can be disfiguring and affects a person’s overall sense of well being. Going to the beach or the pool can be just too embarrassing. One often reads that there is no cure for cellulite. This is untrue: Mesotherapy has been a safe and successful cellulite treatment in many European and South American countries for over 50 years.

In women, fat cells on the lower part of the body store fat six times more readily than those on the upper body. They also release them six times less readily. This makes weight loss from the lower body almost impossible without the upper body suffering unnecessarily. The answer? Mesotherapy.

Mesotherapy treats cellulite by improving circulation, strengthening connective tissues and dissolving excess fat. There is no better treatment of cellulite that we have found as of today.

There are four stages of cellulite, based upon its appearance while standing, laying, and pinching the skin, each of which may require a different treatment:

Stage 0: No visible cellulite, even when skin is pinched.

Stage 1:  No visible cellulite when standing or lying down, however cellulite can be seen, when skin is pinched.

The doctor creates a Mesotherapy formula based on the patient’s grade of cellulite. During treatment, the formula is injected into the cellulite at one inch intervals along the affected area, this is called the Matrix. This process of correcting cellulite can require up to 10 to 15 sessions, but sometimes less depending on the severity of the cellulite.

Face & Neck Rejuvination

A safe and natural alternative to traditional cosmetic procedures, particularly when recovery time and danger of side effects are of concern.

Aging, sagging and wrinkling of the skin occurs from accumulation of fat, loss of skin elasticity and excessive free radical damage. The aging process can be cruel to our skin. Between sun damage and progressive collagen loss, the skin loses its plumpness and resiliency.

Mesotherapy skin rejuvenation or Meso-Skin™ infuses the dermis with potent vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids to rejuvenate, revitalize, promote collagen and elastin production and stimulates metabolism to the skin. The resulting decrease in the flow of oxygen and nutrients makes it more difficult for the body to flush out toxic metabolic products that facilitates premature aging and an ashen appearance to the skin with no affect.

Mesotherapy can remove fat from under the neck, remove free radical damage, and tighten loose skin. The Meso-Skin™ procedure can also be used to tone and tighten sagging skin on the neck and jaw line, legs, abdomen, arms and hands.

In Europe, where Mesotherapy is common and has been used extensively for years, women often begin treatments in their thirties. However, Mesotherapy is valuable during all phases of a woman’s life, and can be used for prevention as well as intervention and maintenance.

The effects rejuvenate the face, eyelids, and neck without the unnatural appearance and painful recovery of surgical face lifting.

People, who have had a Meso-Skin™, describe their skin as firmer, radiant, youthful and glowing. The Meso-Skin™ is usually performed in an initial series of 2-4 treatments spaced a week apart. Results are maintained by twice a year touch up sessions.

Who are the Candidates

We will conduct a comprehensive consultation and physical examination with the patient who requests Mesotherapy. Some of the contraindications for Mesotherapy are heart disease, hepatic diseases, diabetes, renal disease, pregnancy, strokes, blood clots, obesity and the use of medications like blood thinners. The patient should avoid taking anti-inflammatory medications, vitamin E and St. Johns Wort 2-3 days prior to Mesotherapy treatment.
